We sell hogs by hanging weight. You may order a half or whole.
Our pigs are not fed scraps.
They are pastured.
They are fed a nutrient rich pellet that we have come to trust over the years and barley when they first get here to help them get really healthy during their first few days and adjust well.
Currently our pigs are born on a free range hog farm in Eastern Washington.
Every effort is made to make sure their time is enjoyed and they are never out of food or water.
They are finished on malted beer barley and pasture along with fruits from orchardists, veg from the garden, and locally farmed wheat.
They are taken to the butcher in small groups.
The butcher is a professional in The Dalles, Oregon who's been in business for many years and produces an excellent finished product.
You can call in your order and they will walk you through the options available.
We will pick up and deliver as far west as Vancouver, Washington at a central location along Hwy 14 or on the Oregon side as far as Wood Village.
We Will Not Ship! Keep your food local!
Just imagine feeding your family and yourself high quality naturally fed meats all winter long with no residue antibiotics or chemicals. I want that for everyone and will promise to try to make that happen for as many people as possible.
Think of mixing up your meat meals with adding some of our other free ranged meats like chicken, chevon(goat), beef, and holiday turkey.
Adding two whole chevon would really add variety through out the fall and winter and is so good in any beef recipe like taco's, lasagna, hamburgers, spagetti and meatballs.
We produce the finest meats and invite you to come and see how they are raised on this beautiful ranch with attention to their actual happiness and comfort along with educated nutritional feeding and care.
I broke down the costs for you, of course this is all based on an average weight at finish of 250 pounds. As you'll see we are much less expensive than other natural producers and plan to stay that way as long as possible. If you would benefit from a freezer full of pork but cannot afford the large payment all at once we can set up a layaway program for you so that at the time of pickup your costs are only to the butcher.
